Gal Gadot was seen attending the launch of Gucci’s latest perfume at the Bowery Hotel in New York’s Soho district on Tuesday, wearing a stunning white dress and white pumps. During the event, the Israeli actress spoke to Entertain This! and expressed her joy, saying, “I don’t want to boast, but I’m very happy. It’s like a little girl in a candy store.” Gal, who is known for her role in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as Wonder Woman, looked radiant at the lunch. However, she revealed that it took two hours of hair and makeup to achieve her look, as she shared an Instagram selfie of her makeup artist and hair stylist preparing her for the event with the caption, “Good times! #Guccibamboo.”
Gorgeous dark-haired lady: At 30 years old, the talented Israeli actress has taken on the iconic role of Super Woman and is also representing Gucci’s Bamboo fragrance.
A touch of purity: The lady with brown hair looked stunning in a form-fitting dress that reached just above her knees. When she arrived at the Bowery Hotel bright and early in the morning, the actress was dressed in a much more relaxed manner. She wore a black trench coat-style jacket over a white T-shirt sporting the words ‘Day Dream’ in large black letters on the front. With her tight black leggings and black flats, the former Miss Israel proudly showed off her 5ft 10ins figure. Gal, who has been married to her Israeli businessman husband Yaron Varsano for seven years and shares a three-year-old daughter named Alma with him, has been occupied lately promoting her superhero character.
All set: The previous winner of Miss Israel hopped inside the spacious black SUV.
Collaboration is key: The actress openly admitted that her stunning appearance required effort, as she shared a picture on Instagram. She stated in an interview with Entertain This that it took two hours of both hair and makeup to achieve the look. Recently, she joined the Women Who Kick A** panel at Comic-Con held in San Diego, where she was accompanied by other panelists like Gwendoline Christi from Game of Thrones and Hayley Atwell from Agent Carter. Gal, who served as a soldier with the Israeli Defense Forces, learned some combat techniques during her compulsory national service period of two years, making it relatively easy for her to perform action-packed roles. In a cover interview with Fashion magazine’s August issue, she divulged, “The military training I received in Israel has aided me in Hollywood.”
Relaxed yet stylish: The venue saw the arrival of the actress at 7.30am, dressed in a more comfortable yet chic outfit.
Looking stunning with a height of 5ft 10ins, Gal flaunted her long legs in a pair of black skinny jeans with a delightful smile on her face. In 2008, Gal’s knowledge of weapons impressed Fast & Furious director Justin Lin, and she performed her stunts in all three movies of the franchise where she appeared. Her experience stands her in good stead for her upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice releasing on March 25 and the standalone film of her character Wonder Woman in 2017. Lynda Carter is the only one who portrayed the character of Wonder Woman earlier on ABC from 1975 to 1979. Gal expressed her pride in being part of the movie as she believes Wonder Woman is the ultimate symbol of strength, and she never imagined growing up to play a role that inspired so many women.
Female superheroes stole the spotlight at the Women Who Kick A** panel during Comic-Con in San Diego last Saturday. The newest Wonder Woman was in attendance alongside Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christi and Agent Carter actress Hayley Atwell.
