J Lo and Ben Affleck Coordinate in Stylish Espadrilles for Date Night

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were recently spotted taking a stroll in Santa Monica, CA, showing off their perfectly coordinated outfits. Both celebrities wore dark sweaters and denim, but added their unique touches to the look. Jennifer tucked her black cashmere turtleneck into high-rise wide-leg jeans, giving off a ’70s vibe. She completed the look with tall espadrille wedges, oversized octagon frames with translucent lenses, and a Christian Dior book tote featuring an ethereal constellation embroidery. Adding some chunky jewelry, including mixed metal rings, a chainlink watch, and stud earrings, Jennifer tied her hair up in a top knot and kept her makeup light with a nude manicure.

Affleck, who is 50 years old, matched Lopez’s navy tones by wearing a combination of a ribbed hoodie under a cardigan-style jacket, and paired it up with Nike sneakers. This outfit seems to pay homage to his movie “Air,” which is focused on Michael Jordan’s impact on fashion after his deal with the same brand. These types of outfits are common for the married couple when they are off-duty. However, there was an exception when they attended the “Air” world premiere in LA on April 27, where Lopez wore a neon green Antonio Grimaldi Couture gown with a sheer beaded bodice, and Affleck opted for a midnight navy Thom Sweeney corduroy suit.

During her appearance on “Live With Kelly and Mark” on May 5, Lopez discussed Affleck’s willingness to give her style advice. Although he doesn’t attend fittings with her, Lopez revealed that she often asks for his opinion when getting dressed for important events like red carpets or premieres.
