There’s a game scheduled for Monday, but there’s some uncertainty about whether LeBron James will play due to an injury. He’s currently listed as questionable.
On Monday night, the Orlando Magic will visit the Los Angeles Lakers at their home court in California.
According to the latest injury report, LeBron James is likely to play in the upcoming game despite being listed as injured. As reported by Underdog NBA, James has an ankle injury but is still expected to participate in the game on Monday. So far, he has played in all three of the team’s previous games and has been performing well. He has an average of 23.1 points, 10.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 1.0 steal per game, with a field goal percentage of 57.1% and a 3-point percentage of 29.4%. The Lakers currently have a record of 1-2 after a loss against the Sacramento Kings with a score of 132-127.
In 39 minutes of play, James racked up an impressive 27 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists. His shooting was on point with 11 out of 19 from the field and 3 out of 8 from beyond the arc. The Los Angeles Lakers had a decent season last year, finishing with a win-loss record of 43-39 and earning the seventh seed in the Western Conference. Unfortunately, they were sent home by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals after just four games. James has been with the Lakers for six years now and he led them to NBA Championship victory in 2020 against the Miami Heat. Next up for the Lakers is a game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, following their match against the Magic. The Magic are currently boasting a record of 2-0 and recently beat the Portland Trail Blazers 102-97 in Oregon. Franz Wagner played a key role, scoring a game-high 23 points, five rebounds, and three assists in 35 minutes of play to lead the team.
For the third year in a row, the Orlando Magic’s hopes of making it to the NBA playoffs were crushed. Their regular season record of 34-48 landed them in the 13th seed position in the Eastern Conference.
